All our rideouts will start from McDonalds on the Coventry Road
near the Blues Ground (B10 0RJ)
Littledean Jail Route - 10am Start!!
From MacDonald’s we will be heading for the A435 through Moseley, Kings Heath, and Maypole.
Following the A435 for about 19 miles until the Arrow Roundabout near Alcester where we take a right onto the A422 past the entrance to Ragley Hall and onwards towards the B4088 Evesham Road.
Staying on the B4088 to Twyford where we cross onto the A4184 through Evesham town centre crossing the river and onwards to meet the A46.
Taking the A46 towards “Cheltenham – M5” for approximately 7 miles.
Fuel / Fag Stop at BP Truckstop near Beckford on A46 – we will stop here to re-group and join up with any local riders.
Continue onwards on the A46 until we cross the M5 at junction 5 and onwards towards Tewkesbury on the A438 then turn left at the Morrison’s lights onto the A38 towards Gloucester for 7.5 miles.
On the outskirts of Gloucester we take the A40 towards Ross for 5 miles.
We then turn left at the Highnam roundabout onto the A48 towards Chepstow.
After approx 7 miles we pass under a railway bridge and shortly afterwards turn right beside a petrol station signposted Littledean Jail. (A4151)
The Jail is approximately 2 miles up this road on the right hand side.
We have the use of the jail courtyard for scooter parking and the owner of the exhibition is giving a discount of £1 of the standard entrance charge of £7 which includes both the Crime Through Time and Quadrophenia exhibitions. See http://www.littledeanjail.com for more details.
As this is one of our longer runs we will not be attempting to stop traffic at junctions to keep the pack together. We will be pointing the way at junctions but we do need some help with this task so anyone who feels they can help out would be welcome.
